Some .38 AMU pistols were made from kits without frames shipped from Colt and assembled into target guns - this may have been a 'kit gun'. Still a rare piece of American target pistol shooting history. Chambered in .38 AMU (not .38 Special), but a slightly modified .38 Special case, comes with one magazine and barrel bushing spanner.
