Super-strong Axis Lock for right- or left-handed use, a terrific and faithful every day carry in two sizes: standard Griptilian (blade length 8.8cm, weight 107-118g) and MiniGriptilian (blade length 7.4cm, weight 76-82g). The 555 sheepsfoot version is available in two sizes - Mini Griptilian (555-S30V) and standard size Griptilian (this model, 550-S30V). The standard size sheepsfoot Griptililan is also available with 20CV blade steel and G10 handles (Product 550-1). Features CPM-S30V Premium Stainless Blade Steel, with an excellent balance of corrosion resistance, strength and edge qualities. Composition: Carbon 1.45%, Chromium 14.00%, Vanadium 4.00%, Molybdenum 2.00%. Vanadium carbides give the steel a very refined and homogenous grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness, while remaining relatively easy to maintain an edge.
