Marked “MADE BY THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO LTD” with the classic stacked rifles BSA trade mark. This rifle was issued to the Citizen Military Forces (C.M.F.) and is clearly stamped “C.M.F / 6 M.D” — indicating Tasmanian service use. All major serials match. Unrestored, honest patina throughout. A great, solid example of Australia’s early cadet training rifles. Important note: The barrel and bore show visible pitting, typical of rifles from this period that saw service and use with cadet ammunition.
