Was built as a M38 carbine in 1942 not a shortened M96 *Has escaped the barrel threading for blank fire amuntion, barrel is untouched . Bolt , action ,butt plate & bayonet matching numbers *Sights are dead on at 100 meters shoots 160gr RN very accurately *Stock Disc marker is at 1. Bore is marked 6.46 * Bore is mirror shiny *Bluing is excellent * Matching Bayonet with same serial number * Original Sling *A dint in the stock that can be repaired, i have left it as is ( purchased with it) As it adds character * This rifle was imported untouched from Sweden, been sitting in safes for most its life.
