Bishop London Serial 36075R (R Suffix indicates this gun was produced by Robert Adams himself) Serial B20326 (Frederick Beaumont Royalty Payment Serial) Many of there firearms were not fitted with the optional loading lever shown here and many were thumb loaded. This was the first revolver made in the United Kingdom and was the competition to the Colt. They were also sent to America for use in the Civil War.
