The Remington 783 bolt-action rifle isn’t a new model, having been in production for more than 10 years. Promoted as the ‘workhorse’ of the current line-up, it survived the turmoil of the Remington bankruptcy and now in the new era is still in production, filling a niche as an entry-level centrefire.
