However, another popular & underappreciated design at the time was the Mauser Model 1910 which became the Model 1914, which eventually evolved into the Model 1934, also called Mauser Model 1910/34. Known by some as the 'Baby Mauser' it was a compact semi auto pistol chambered in 6.35mm (.25 ACP), which was popular with German officers in WW2 & noted for its scarce production & collector value. We believe this is a 3rd variant as this specific serial number indicates a late 1930's production date, around 1937-1938 & is a significant find for Mauser pocket pistol collectors.
