Has an original 24-inch Winchester barrel with S, L or LR stamped on it and the WP in the oval stamp. It has “.22 shot” stamped on the barrel next to the UK proof marks. There are UK proof marks that indicate a gun smith has converted it to smoothbore.It is not counter bored like the Routledge model. The barrel has not been sleeved and has a crowned muzzle. Smooth bore rifles that fired shot were popular and sought after in the UK, as the firearm licensing was different and easier for shot-guns. The bore has a smooth mirrored finish. Has good wood on stock and pump forearm. Slight damage on grip -see photo. Been in the safe for 40 odd years. Part of my deceased father collection.
