The Model 57M Classic is a rimfire rifle designed to be very accurate and aesthetically pleasing. My Cooper 57M Classic 22LR is without doubt one of the best production rifles available today. The workmanship and finish on this rifle is impeccable. Cooper actions and stock hardware are machined from solid bar stock steel. The barrel is a premium match grade. The walnut stock is hand crafted – cut, shaped, sanded, filled, checkered, and oil finished by hand. The stock has been hand fitted to the barrelled action, assuring a perfect wood to metal fit. The action is glass bedded behind the recoil lug and 1″ forward of the breech. The barrel is free-floating.
