It is a top lever cocking gun with 30 inch Damascus barrels choked approx quarter and cyl. It is obviously not nitro proofed and I have listed it as black powder in very good condition for its age. It functions comfortably with low pressure 2.5 inch shells. Gamebore produce suitable loads along with Hull. The engraving on both locks is very clean and intricate and the wood has a nice grain. The stock has not been altered and retains the original steel butt plate. The for wood has an ebony tip and the release lever has also been engraved. This gun cocks via the top lever, not by opening the gun. A rare example of a classic English makers gun. I can trace it's provenance back about fifty years. Post included in price but not to WA.
