Metal finish is a rich blue/black with all matching serial numbers, stock in excellent condition with the barrel shiny and rifling very prominent. I’m the second owner and prior to being mine it appeared to be unfired with cosmoline still evident in the crevices of the metalwork. Markings show that this example was made in 1953 in Poland at the Radom plant. These versions were produced from 1949 to possibly as late as 1955. They are characterized by a high-quality finish & the marking of all parts with the “11” stamp. Barrel shank is stamped “11” (code for Poland) 1953. It has a “MO” stamped on the stock confirming that this is an original & has been refurbished. The folding bayonet is in excellent condition with a strong snap & zero play. Trigger is very crisp. The Polish carbines are generally acknowledged as being of a high build quality & are sought after by collectors worldwide. This rifle and able to shoot 1.5 MOA at 100mtrs from the bench. I replaced the front sight with a Smith-Sights adjustable sight with a gold bead sight. Original sight can be supplied if needed.
