I have used the unit for hunting alone, on foot at night for ferals and have taken cats, dogs, rabbits, hare and pigs. I've been able to detect animals that I simply would not have noticed otherwise and stalk close for a shot. I have recently upgraded to a larger scanner more suitable for vehicle-based shooting.
