Very rare and seldom seen in Australia. Hammerli only made 100 of these rifles for the Israeli army, as training for their marksmanship training program. It was manufactured by the Swiss, and "lost in a boating accident" enroute to Nicaguara (as there was a ban on selling arms to Israel) It then turned up in the Israeli army, alongside their sniper rifle variant KZ31. Forgotten history has just released a Video of this variant of rifle - really cool, check it out. This looks to have an Israeli proof mark next to the serial number. Fitted with fully adjustable Diopter target peep sight & globe front sight, this would be a great target match rifle for the serious marksman, or as part of a collection.
