Rifle has been restored. Metal work was sandblasted and cerakoted, except for bolt. Buttplate was in bad shape so I made a new one. Stock was sanded to 320grit and finished in Tung oil. There is some pitting hiding under timber on barrel external surface which was chased out fully before cerakoting. Bore isn’t perfect but still shoots fine. Will make a perfect unkillable short and handy scrub gun, or a nice addition to a Mauser collection. 1917 sling is included. More pics on request.
