Description Evolution Gun Works (EGW) has found that suppliers of pin sets to the firearms industry are using leaded steel. You can easily cut leaded steel pins with wire cutters. EGW pin sets are made from drill rod, which is a much stronger material. Our pins are manufactured to the GI 1911 print specifications with tighter tolerances.
