The billet aluminium receiver is machined to locate the barrel in the same place every time with a large contact area to ensure a precise fit. BARREL MOUNTED SCOPE MOUNT All SLX Barrels feature an integrated MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail scope base (12MOA as standard) that is mounted directly to the barrel allowing the SLX to change barrels without the need for re-zeroing and it actually works as advertised. INNOVATIVE BARREL RIFLING All R&S monolithic barrels are rifled on our proprietary CNC-controlled electrochemical rifling machine. The process avoids the transmission of heat and mechanical stresses that the traditional rifling process places on a barrel giving Ritter & Stark the ability to produce barrels with unique uniformity within tolerances that have never been possible in factory production.
