Premium Listing Listing Number: 21985147 Calibre: 22LR Make: Ross Model: 1912 .22 Military Trainer Condition: Good Price: $2850 Serial No: 16138 Action: Straight Pull State: NSW Advertised: 16-04-2026 Comment: Ross 1912 Military Trainer Keen (ok tragic) collector of British Empire/Commonwealth military trainers (in .22LR) thinning out his collection. Looking for someone who is keen to help preserve military history from possible destruction under new and uncertain firearms restrictions. Condition - Good. Barrel - Dark, poor. Shoots poorly - Large spread. I don’t think it's my fading short sighted eyes. It's for true collectors. Sling included. History - The Ross model 1912 Cadet rifle was introduced in 1912 as a diminutive rimfire companion to the 1905 and 1910 military Ross rifles. It was a single-shot straight pull rifle, with a somewhat unusual locking bolt system. Somewhere between 13,000 and 17,000 appear to have been made, for civilian commercial sale, Cadet Corps, and Militia use. Production ended in March 1917, when the Ross company collapsed. Today these are quite rare rifles (especially in Australia). Forgotten weapons.com Postage at your cost. No Western Australia. Sorry.
