This is no normal 686 as the listing implies. This was a special limited production of 300 units by the S&W Performance Centre complete with sand blasting and laser engraving. Supposedly these were to be shipped to Europe but it didn’t proceed. They somehow ended up in Australia and I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one from Magnum Sports. Key Features and Specifications: Action: Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA). Caliber: .357 Magnum / .38 S&W Special +P. Barrel Length: 6 inches (15.2 cm). Frame Size: Medium (L-Frame). Capacity: 6 Sights: Adjustable competition sights. Construction: Stainless steel with a matte finish. Special Features: Target trigger and target hammer for a smoother, lighter pull. This is an impressive and competitive centre fire pistol, more then capable at any grade level. Currently has the Hogue mono grip, unfortunately I can’t find the custom wooden grip. Has been well cared for, accurate and a joy to shoot though has spent a lot of time in the safe of late. Only light ring marks on cylinder and trigger faintly marked. $1500 plus shipping
