A major modification to the trigger was made by renowned Cairns gunsmith, Peter Knowlton. This makes the gun infinitely easier to handle and shoot. This gun is based on the US WWII wartime survival rifle whose 'trigger' was designed for a heavily gloved hand for air crew who found themselves downed in Arctic conditions Such a trigger was activated by squeezing upwards. This made it awkward to use. The modified trigger is now simply pulled back by the forefinger as in a usual rifle. This M6 is a combination gun with a .22 hornet over a 410.
