Featuring a shorter, blunter protected point profile, these projectiles are specifically designed to withstand repeated recoil in rifle magazines while delivering the rapid expansion and deep penetration hunters have trusted for decades. At the heart of every Protected Point is Nosler's renowned dual-core Partition construction . Two separate lead-alloy cores are divided by an integral copper partition, allowing the front core to expand rapidly for maximum energy transfer while the enclosed rear core remains intact to retain more than two-thirds of its original weight for exceptional penetration through heavy muscle and bone.
