Purchased years ago to build a custom rifle in a smaller caliber but yet another project that didn transpire. I also have the original quarter rib mount. This is probably better suited to someone desiring a custom build on a caliber of your choosing. The replacement value of the stock alone is considerable let alone the engraving. Given that standard #1s sell for as much as the original purchase price, this example is a bargain for someone wanting something special.
