Most noticeable is the addition of the carbon fiber wrapped barrel from Preferred Barrels. Extensive research and testing of Preferred Barrels products has ensured their quality levels and accuracy. Each barrel begins as a blank that is precision bored and button rifled before being stress relieved. The barrels use a stronger, stiffer carbon fiber wrapping process rather than simple carbon fiber sleeve or tube construction like less expensive designs that offer the carbon fiber look without the functional benefits of the wrapping process. Barrels come in standard lengths that vary by caliber. The Speed Carbon Fiber includes a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap.
