The Pocket series is RIX's entry point into thermal - a compact, pocketable monocular built for scanning, spotting and general observation without the bulk or the price tag of a full-size unit. The Pocket K2 uses a 256 x 192 thermal detector behind a 9 mm objective lens, with a horizontal field of view of 19.4 degrees. Does the Pocket K2 have a laser rangefinder? No. The Pocket K2 is a scanning and observation monocular with no rangefinder fitted. If you need ranging, look at the RIX Titan T3 or Titan T6, which have a 1200 m laser rangefinder built in. How heavy is the Pocket K2 and how long does it run? The Pocket K2 weighs 200 g and runs for approximately 7 hours. It also has electronic image stabilisation to steady the picture while scanning.
